Who is Japan Fishing Tackle for Trout?

Japan Fishing Tackle for Trout is a specialty store launched by Japan Fishing Tackle, a long-established fishing tackle shop based in Japan.
While our main store, Japan Fishing Tackle, specializes in bass fishing gear, Japan Fishing Tackle for Trout is dedicated exclusively to premium trout fishing tackle.
Our main store has served thousands of satisfied customers through its online shop and ebay since 2016.

What kind of products do you offer?

We only offer brand-new products. All items are genuine, authentic products sourced from Japan.

Shipping - Where do you ship, how much does it cost, and how long does it take? -

We ship internationally to the Eurozone, Nordic countries (Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Iceland), Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada.

*as from the date on which Japan Fishing Tackle for Trout hands over the parcel to the carrier.(We normally handle within 24 business hours on weekdays and do not ship on weekends and Japanese public holidays.)

Can I track my order?

Yes!
We will send you a tracking number by email once your order has been dispatched.
You can use this number to track your parcel through the carrier’s website.

Which carrier will deliver my order?

Depending on your order value and shipping destination, your order will be delivered by either Japan Post (in cooperation with your national postal service), FedEx, or DHL.

Are there any additional costs besides the product price and shipping fee?

Depending on your country's import regulations, you may need to pay customs duties, VAT, import taxes, or handling fees upon receiving your order. These charges are not included in the product price or shipping fee at checkout.

As of April 2025 (based on our internal research):
• In the European Union, VAT is generally charged on all orders, and customs duties may apply for orders exceeding €150.
• In Switzerland, Norway, and Iceland, limited exemptions exist for very low-value shipments, but most orders may still be subject to taxes or duties.
• In Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, many orders below certain thresholds (CAD 20 / AUD 1,000 / NZD 1,000) may be exempt from customs duties, although local taxes like GST may still apply.

When and how will any additional costs be collected?

If customs duties, VAT, or other import taxes apply to your order, the local carrier or customs office will collect the fees at the time of delivery or customs clearance.
Depending on your country and the carrier used:
• You may be asked to pay the fees upon delivery (cash or card accepted in most cases).
• Alternatively, you may receive a notification by email, SMS, or postal mail instructing you to pay the fees online before the parcel is delivered.
Please note that failure to pay these charges may result in delays, return of the parcel, or additional storage fees charged by the carrier.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept a wide range of payment methods. All orders will be charged in euros (EUR).

How can I return my order?

Please contact our customer service team at customersupport@jpnfishingtackle.com if you would like to request a return. Returns are accepted under certain conditions, and return shipping costs are borne by the customer. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

What if my item arrives damaged, defective, or incomplete?

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incomplete product, please contact us immediately. We will review each case individually. If approved, we will offer a refund or replacement at no additional cost to you.
